Ready to Serve

I’m running for Wilson County Commission — District 2 to continue a lifetime of service.

At 21, I joined the U.S. Navy and served as a Chinese-language analyst, translating communications from the Chinese air forces. After six years of service, I carried that same commitment into my civilian life through volunteering and community work.

Since moving to Middle Tennessee, I’ve built my career in nonprofit work supporting public school teachers by getting school supplies into their classrooms. I also volunteer locally and serve on the board of a nonprofit that promotes awareness and provides access to free contraception.

Service is my purpose—and I’m ready to bring that mindset to Wilson County government.

Serving People, Not Projects

Wilson County should be a place where regular folks can afford to live, where our roads and schools keep up with growth, and where you don’t have to fight to see basic public information. I’m running to make sure county government serves people, not projects or special deals. That means keeping taxes reasonable, planning growth around real lives and real commutes, and opening up the books so you can see where your money goes.

  1. Fair Taxes & Affordability
Keep life affordable by making growth and big tax breaks pull their weight before anyone talks about raising your property taxes.

  2. Smart Growth & Safe Roads
Plan “infrastructure before people” for big developments, protect rural areas on purpose, and fix the most dangerous and congested roads first.

  3. Schools, Buses & Everyday Life
Be honest about overcrowding, match new classrooms to where families are moving, and treat bus reliability and school-area safety as essentials.

  4. Open Books & Real Input
Create a public “Documents & Data” hub, post key information by default, and hold regular open meetings so neighbors can weigh in before votes.
